From the point of view of gameplay, the police is a kind of mafia organization. They have no business (instead of patrolling the streets), and diplomacy with them is greatly simplified. Your relationship with a faction is influenced by how you react to its members.
If you kill them, it's natural for your relationship with the officers. Therefore, avoid shooting at the police whenever possible. Of course, this is not always possible because they can join any skirmish you have with another gang.
Relations with the police will improve when you eliminate gangs that treat law enforcement poorly.
In addition, some of the missions you complete during the game will affect this relationship. By completing them, you can, for example, turn one of your slats into a police bar or get rid of an undercover agent.
On top of that, your activity in the area will make the police interested in your business. There is an indicator on the panel describing the area that shows how suspicious your company is - the higher the level, the more likely it is that employees will cause problems.
On the gang panel, you will find a tab dedicated to talking to the police. He will inform you about the level of your relationship. There is also a list of available actions. There are 6 of them in total:
bribery - allows you to bribe police officers in order to improve relations with the police;
shop - allows you to sell and buy goods;
bail all - gives you the opportunity to rescue all arrested gang members;
Turning a blind eye allows you to bribe the police to ignore your activities in the chosen area.;
Protection request - allows you to purchase temporary protection for the specified building.
Residents of different districts have different preferences regarding drinking. Detailed information on this topic can be found in the second tab, in the panel "alcohols". If you look there, you will see a list of areas where you have businesses, as well as drinks preferred by local customers and alcoholic beverages that you sell. Moreover, clicking on the icon of the product you offer will change its type.
If you adapt the alcohol you sell to people's tastes, you will receive a large share of the profits from the area. Remember that if you are not producing enough alcohol of a certain type at the moment, you can make it a priority in a particular area.
Not all of them are always active. Their availability depends on the relationship with the police.
